This room also takes us far back in history. Where a hill castle sat on top of the Helferberg during the Middle Ages, Count Palatine Ruprecht I built a new complex in the 14th century, which, after the chaos of the Thirty Years’ War, was rebuilt into a prestigious Baroque castle in the 18th century.
The room, with two comfortable leather sofas, can be closed off with glass double doors and is ideal for family gatherings. This historic Stüberl is fitted out with original furniture from Helfenberg Castle, including a grandfather clock with gold intarsia. Its classic elegance gives smaller gatherings and anniversaries a very special, celebratory atmosphere.
